There is a village in central Java where the whole community works together to produce Guitars and Ukuleles. Some workshops make the body, other the neck – actually the whole village collaborate to produce this instrument. We are delighted to bring you these artisan made Ukuleles from the family that do the finishing and detailed work. Constructed using Sonokeling wood

Do not confuse these with plastic or factory produced, these are made with love and lovely attention to detail. The bD logo on the neck stands for Bondhan Out, an Indonesian designer (who is also a musician) who helps to develop this range.
